Eula Biss - All Apologies
All Apologies, an essay by Eula Biss, appeared in our Spring/Summer 2006 print edition. This audio version of All Apologies, performed by Laura Coover, Anna Schutz, Brent La Frenz, and Jocelyn De Boer, was produced as part of a collaborative project between Ninth Letter and the Department of Theatre at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.
Eula Biss is the author of The Balloonists (Hanging Loose 2002). She is co-founder and co-editor of Essay Press, a new press dedicated to publishing innovative essays in book form. In addition to the publication of "All Apologies" in Ninth Letter; other of her essays have recently appeared in Gulf Coast, Hotel Amerika, Columbia, North American Review, the Massachusetts Review, the Seneca Review, and Harper's. A collection of her essays is forthcoming from Graywolf Press in 2009.
