James Zager Interview
James Zager, the Pierce-Hedges chair of theatre arts at Carroll University, discusses contemporary theater and the important cultural role played by live dramatic performance. A former professor in the Department of Theatre at the University of Illinois, Zager is a Wisconsin native and lived for 20 years in Chicago where he worked as a professional actor, director and playwright in musical theatre and theatre for youth.
