"The Egg Market," a story by Sheila Heti, appeared in Ninth Letter volume 4, number 2, our Fall/Winter 2007-8 issue. This audio version was produced as part of a collaborative project between Ninth Letter and the Department of Theatre at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.
Sheila Heti is the author of the story collection The Middle Stories (McSweeney's Books), the novel Ticknor (Farrar, Straus & Giroux) and the forthcoming How Should a Person Be? (Anansi). In Spring 2011, her book with Misha Glouberman, Improv Your Life, will be published in the U.S. by Faber.
